Who makes it, and what to know
Bertazzoni is an Italian family company that has made cooking equipment since 1882; it says its ranges are designed, engineered and made in Italy, at its own factory in Guastalla. Bertazzoni's warranty is two years, parts and labor, and four years if you register the appliance; complaints about oven temperature are covered for only the first 180 days. Bertazzoni makes it to order and says it ships in about 12 weeks. Dual fuel means gas burners over an electric oven, so it needs both a gas line and a 240-volt circuit. Bertazzoni calls the 5.7 cubic foot oven the largest in its class; an air-fry mode and a stainless mesh basket come with it. You buy from Abt Electronics, a family-owned appliance and electronics store in Glenview, Illinois, open since 1936. Abt handles delivery and returns: most items go back within 30 days in their original packaging, and Abt may charge the return shipping. The warranty is Bertazzoni's.

“This Bertazzoni free standing range is unbelievable. First of all, it is beautiful, and makes an elegant design statement. The stovetop burners are perfectly spaced and cooking on all 6 burners at once is no problem at all. The option to use 2 of the burners as either simmer or full BTUs is genius. Having that control makes cooking so much easier. The wok and simmer ring are nice to have. The oven does so many things extremely well. The accessories like the air fry basket, griddle and baking tray are really nice. The functionality of all the baking options are perfect for the cook who makes a wide range of dishes. Air fryer function is awesome. The settings for true convection, pizza, warming, proofing, broiling, as well as using a combination of settings (convection/broil) are wonderful and really make a difference in the outcome of your meals. I used to think I was a good cook, now with my Bertrazzoni I know I am! Can’t go wrong with this cooking marvel!”
“We have had problems with our oven since the first day it was installed. The dual fuel option meant that the oven was not working, in an error state, or the wrong temperature. We had three technicians try to fix it while it was under warranty and none could fix it. We asked for it to be replaced multiple times and never got a response. Bertazzoni customer service was not acceptable for such a high end company. For such an expensive purchase we have been very disappointed, we have now had it for over two years and the oven is still completely unreliable. It either undercooks or burns food consistently. Do not waste your money.”
