Igloo is a US cooler maker based in Katy, Texas, and says it has been making coolers for more than 70 years. Igloo's warranty is one year from purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Igloo first made the Playmate in 1971. Igloo says this one is made in the USA with US and imported parts. “This is the perfect size, and it kept my towels cold all day. I will say the button sometimes gets stuck to open and close the cooler, but its not a big problem.”
