KitchenAid is one of Whirlpool Corporation's brands. Juniper is one of its current finishes, a dark green, sold beside Black Ore and stainless steel; the handles and knobs match the finish, and kits in brass, bronze, black ore or stainless are sold separately. The warranty is one year, limited, parts and labor. KitchenAid says the filter cleans itself, so there is no filter to wash by hand, and that it has the largest third rack among leading brands. The controls sit on the top edge of the door. Owner reviews praise how quiet it is and how dry the dishes come out; several say the best cycles are long. You buy from Abt Electronics, a family-owned appliance and electronics store in Glenview, Illinois, open since 1936. “Boy, do I love this dishwasher. I never knew I could love an appliance so much. This KitchenAid dishwasher is so quiet and I love that it has three racks. I even get compliments on it when people come over because it looks so nice and they didn’t even realize that the dishwasher was running. It stays nice and clean with the stainless steel interior. It dries fast. I would buy this again and again! I seriously cannot recommend it enough. ”
“It has lots of room that is well organized. It is quiet. It dries dishes better than any dishwasher we have ever had. I give it a 4.8 and that is only because the cycles that provide the best wash and dry take a loooong time. Like 3.5 hours. Other than that it is fantastic. Installation was not very difficult either.”
“Capacity, Cleaning, Drying and Noise. Mostly positive. However, compared to previous dishwasher length of time for cleaning seems rather long. Having the touch buttons on the top of the door causes you to accidently push the buttons when opening the washer. Noise level is great and like the fact the door will open when drying is completed. Capacity is more than enough and having washing platform for large spoons and spatulas on the top shelf is very helpful. Overall, a very nice appliance.”
