Smeg is an Italian appliance maker based in Guastalla, near Reggio Emilia; Vittorio Bertazzoni founded it in 1948. Smeg USA's warranty is one full year from purchase, parts and labor. Smeg launched its small appliances in 2014. It starts slowly at each speed so flour does not spray out of the bowl.
