Smeg is an Italian appliance maker based in Guastalla, near Reggio Emilia; Vittorio Bertazzoni founded it in 1948. Smeg USA's warranty is one full year from purchase, parts and labor. Smeg launched its small appliances in 2014. It blends in the bottle you drink from, one drink at a time; for a family-size jug, Smeg's full-size blender is the one. Smeg says the bottles are Tritan Renew plastic with 50 percent certified recycled content, and they are dishwasher safe.
