What the Café 4-door fridge does
The Café four-door fridge holds 27.8 cubic feet in all, with 15.6 cubic feet of fresh food, 8.6 cubic feet of freezer and a 3.6 cubic foot drawer in the middle. And the four doors are the two fridge doors on top, the middle drawer, and the freezer drawer at the bottom.
The Café fridge's middle drawer has five settings, Soft Freeze, Meat, Beverage, Snacks and Wine, which run from 23 to 42 degrees. So the drawer can run cold enough for soft-frozen food, or warm enough for drinks and wine.
The Café fridge has water and ice in the door, and its AutoFill button uses sensors to fill a jug or a glass with the right amount of filtered water. Then the filter, Café says, reduces more than 70 impurities, including lead, chlorine and microplastics.
Inside the Café fridge, a wall of LED light runs across the back of the fresh-food section, so everything on the shelves is easy to see. And Café says its humidity-controlled drawer keeps leafy greens fresh 2.5 times as long as a standard drawer, by its own testing.
The Café fridge's freezer has a slim, full-width compartment for pizzas and flatbreads, above sliding shelves and trays. And the fridge and the freezer each have their own evaporator, which Café says helps keep the food in each section fresh.
The Café fridge also connects to Wi-Fi, so it can send alerts to your phone through Café's SmartHQ app. And Café says the matte finish resists fingerprints and wipes clean.

The Café four-door fridge doesn't sit flush with your counters. Because it's a full-depth fridge, 36.75 inches deep, it stands forward of the cabinets on each side, so measure how far it will come out into the room.
The Café fridge's warranty is one year on parts and labor, on the whole fridge. That's short for a fridge at this price, while Smeg's retro fridges we list have two full years.
The Café fridge comes in two colors only, matte white and matte black. So if you want a pastel or a green, this isn't the fridge, though the handles can change later even if the body color can't.

And of those 4,192 reviews, 2,996 reviews give five stars, while 241 reviews give one star, which is 6% of the reviews. But Café marks some reviews as incentivized, meaning the reviewer received something for writing the review.
The one-star reviews of the Café fridge describe noise, ice that scatters from the dispenser, and an AutoFill that works only some of the time.

The Café four-door fridge comes in matte white and matte black, and both finishes are sold by Abt Electronics, a family-owned appliance store in Glenview, Illinois, open since 1936. So the fridge was $4,319 at Abt in late September 2026, in either finish, and both were in stock.
Abt lists the matte white fridge with brushed bronze handles and the matte black fridge with brushed stainless handles. And Café sells handle kits separately, so the handles can change later to match a range.
Abt handles the delivery, with options and cost set by zip code, and the returns. Most items go back to Abt within 30 days in their original packaging, and Abt may charge the return shipping. But the warranty is Café's, whichever finish you choose.
Who makes the Café 4-door fridge
Café is a brand of GE Appliances, which is owned by Haier and based in Louisville, Kentucky. And Café was a GE product line from 2007 before it became a brand of its own in 2018, with its own store and its own warranty.
There's no recall on record for the Café four-door fridge at the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (checked September 2026).
