The Caraway set is four ceramic nonstick pans and their lids, all in one color, with a pan rack and a lid holder to store them. But the Caraway set's nonstick wears with use, and Caraway's one-year warranty doesn't cover that wear.
Cookware often gets bought one pan at a time, so the cupboard ends up as a mix of colors and makers. But the Caraway set goes the other way, because every pan and every lid comes in the same color, and the set brings its own storage. So when the pans are out on the stove, they look like they were chosen together, and that's because they were.
Marigold and navy are the two Caraway colors we'd look at first. That's because marigold is a warm yellow and navy is a deep blue, so either color shows up on the stove.
You're replacing a cupboard of mismatched pans and you'd like four matching pans, with somewhere to keep them, and you'll cook on low to medium heat and wash by hand.
You cook on high heat, use metal utensils or want cookware that goes in the dishwasher. That's because Caraway's care rules say no to all of those.

What the Caraway set does
The Caraway listings we link are mostly for the 12-piece set, which is built around four pans. Those are a 10.5 inch fry pan, a 3-quart sauce pan, a 4.5-quart sauté pan and a 6.5-quart Dutch oven, with three lids, because the fry pan and the Dutch oven share one lid.
The storage is what sets the Caraway set apart. For storage, Caraway includes magnetic pan organizers, which hold the pans on their sides in a cabinet, and a canvas lid holder that hangs inside a cabinet door or on a wall, with the hooks in the box. So the pans don't sit stacked inside each other in a cupboard, and one owner writes that this protects the pans from damage.
The Caraway pans have a ceramic nonstick coating that Caraway says is made without PTFE, PFOA, PFAS, lead or cadmium. And the pans work on every kind of stovetop, induction included, and they go in the oven up to 550 °F.
What the Caraway set doesn't do
The Caraway set's nonstick needs care, and Caraway's own rules say so. So Caraway says to cook on low to medium heat, to preheat for no more than 90 seconds, and to add a little oil or butter every time, because the coating needs it. And the pans are hand wash only, since Caraway says the dishwasher damages the coating.
Even with that care, ceramic nonstick wears with use, and some owners find food sticking within months. That's where the warranty matters, because Caraway's one-year warranty covers defects, and it doesn't cover the nonstick wearing from high heat, stains, scratches from metal utensils or normal wear and tear.
The Caraway set's size is worth checking too. That's because Amazon lists the set in more than one size, from 12 pieces up to 24 pieces depending on the listing, so check the number of pieces on the listing for your color before you buy.

But the complaints about the Caraway set are mostly about the nonstick, and they're worth reading before you buy.

So the same set can stay slick in one kitchen and stop releasing food within six months in another. And Caraway says high heat is what damages the coating over time, which is why its care rules are worth following from the first day.
The Caraway set's colors, and where to buy each color

Who makes the Caraway set
Jordan Nathan founded Caraway after overheating a traditional nonstick pan and getting sick from the fumes, he says, and that's why Caraway's coating is made without PTFE. And Caraway says it works with manufacturing partners certified under the BSCI and SMETA programs, which audit working conditions. As for recalls, none is on record for Caraway cookware at the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (checked September 2026).

- Heat: the Caraway set's nonstick lasts longer on low to medium heat, with a little oil or butter.
