The Haden kettle in turquoise, the British retro kettle that matches the Haden toaster
The Haden Heritage kettle holds seven cups and comes in turquoise, in ivory and in black, with copper or chrome trim. But Haden's US warranty terms are on the Amazon listing only, so read them there before you buy.

The Haden kettle is the British retro kettle that sits beside the Haden toaster, and in turquoise the two make a matching pair on the counter. So if a kitchen already has a Haden toaster, or a little turquoise somewhere else, the kettle is an easy way to add one more piece in the same color.
The Haden kettle has the retro shape to go with the color, a rounded body under a tall arched handle. And that shape is the same family look as the Haden toaster.
You'd like a retro kettle in turquoise or ivory to match the Haden toaster, and you boil water for coffee or black tea.
You want a keep-warm setting, which owners say the Haden kettle doesn't have, or a handle that stays cool when you boil water several times in a row.
Haden's US warranty terms are on the Amazon listing only, so read them there before you buy.
Amazon, in all four finishes.

What the Haden kettle does
The Haden kettle holds 1.7 liters, about seven cups, and it heats at 1,500 watts. And the kettle lifts off a cordless base that turns all the way round, so you can set it down at any angle.
The Haden kettle switches itself off when the water boils, and it also switches off if it boils dry. Then the limescale filter in the spout lifts out to clean.
Owners of the Haden kettle add the small details. They say the lid comes off completely for filling, there's a window on the side that shows the water level, and a full kettle takes about five to seven minutes to boil.
The Haden kettle is 9.5 inches wide, 11.75 inches tall and 7 inches deep, and it weighs 2.8 pounds. That makes the Haden two inches taller than the Smeg kettle, so measure under your cabinets if the kettle is going to sit there.
What the Haden kettle doesn't do
The Haden kettle boils water and switches off, and owners say it has no keep-warm. But two owners say the water stays hot for a while after the kettle switches off.
The Haden kettle's handle is what unhappy owners write about. The handle is fixed upright, and owners say it gets warm, while one owner says it gets hot enough to burn. So if you boil water several times in a row, keep a pot holder near the kettle.
Haden's warranty is the other thing to check. Because Haden's US store is closed to the public, Haden's US warranty terms are printed only on the Amazon listing. So read the warranty on the listing for your color before you buy.
What owners say about the Haden kettle
On Amazon, the Haden kettle scores 4.4 out of 5 from 1,103 ratings, across the colors we link (September 2026). Most owners write about the look first, and then about how quickly the kettle boils.
"I bought this tea kettle for my husband. He loves the look it’s sturdy and reliable. The price was right."
Amazon customer, verified purchase, February 2026, in black and copper
"Best purchase for my morning tea routine quick to boil, perfect capacity, durable, and worth the price. Pretty too looks great on my counter."
Amazon customer, verified purchase, January 2026, in ivory and chrome
But not every owner of the Haden kettle is happy, and the complaints are about the handle and, once, the switch.
"Love the color, style and quality. My only complaint is that the handle gets too hot and will burn your hand."
Amazon customer, verified purchase, July 2021, in turquoise
"The handle does get pretty warm if you boil multiple times in a row. Perfectly cool if boiling once."
Amazon customer, verified purchase, April 2026, in ivory and chrome
"This morning, it would no longer engage and I tried everything I could to get it to come on, but it would not."
Amazon customer, verified purchase, June 2020, in turquoise
The Haden kettle in that last review stopped working within two months, and Amazon took the kettle back and refunded it. So keep your order details, because the Amazon seller may be the company that takes a faulty kettle back.
The Haden kettle's colors, and where to buy each color
The Haden kettle comes in four finishes, and every finish is sold on Amazon. The turquoise kettle comes with chrome trim, while the ivory kettle comes with copper or with chrome, and the black kettle comes with copper.

So there's no turquoise kettle with copper trim. And if copper is what you're after, the ivory and the black are the two finishes to look at.
Haden's own website is its UK store, and those models run on 220 to 240 volts, so they won't work in a US kitchen. But the Haden kettles we link on Amazon are the US 120-volt versions. And the delivery and returns follow the Amazon seller on each listing.
Who makes the Haden kettle
Haden is a British appliance brand, and its Amazon listings say it has been trusted since 1958. But Haden's US store is closed to the public, so we link the US kettles on Amazon.
There's no recall on record for the Haden kettle at the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (checked September 2026).
The toaster that matches the Haden kettle
Haden makes its Heritage toaster in turquoise and in ivory with copper or chrome, so the toaster and the kettle can sit side by side in one finish. The toaster has two wide slots and six browning settings, with bagel and defrost, and it centers the bread so both sides toast evenly.
Haden isn't the only maker of a matching pair, though. The toaster and kettle guide shows Smeg, KitchenAid and the others, color by color.
Before you buy the Haden kettle
- Warranty: read the warranty on the Amazon listing, because that's the only place Haden's US terms are printed.
- Volts: buy through the Amazon links, because Haden's own site sells UK models that won't work in a US kitchen.
- Trim: choose ivory or black if you want copper, because the turquoise kettle has chrome trim.
- Handle: keep a pot holder nearby, because owners say the handle gets warm when you boil several times in a row.
- Space: measure under your cabinets, because the kettle is 11.75 inches tall.
