Who makes it, and what to know
Bialetti Industrie is based in Coccaglio, near Brescia, Italy; Alfonso Bialetti opened his workshop in 1919 and created the Moka Express in 1933. Rinse it with warm water only: no soap and no dishwasher. Gaskets wear out and are not covered by the warranty; Bialetti sells replacements. Bialetti also makes 3-cup versions in most of these colors. Black Oro is a limited edition with gold detailing, not part of the Rainbow line.
