Café is a brand of GE Appliances, which is owned by Haier and based in Louisville, Kentucky. It was a GE product line from 2007 and became a brand of its own in 2018, with its own store and its own warranty. The warranty is one year on the whole appliance, parts and labor. Café's site has only 8 reviews for it, going back to 2022, and they average 3.0 out of 5: too few to be a record either way. The one-star review describes a hood that arrived scratched and was hard to install. At full speed Café rates it at 9 sones, which is loud; at working speed, 3. Café sells the duct covers for 8, 10 and 12 ft. ceilings separately. You buy from Café's own store, so delivery, returns and the warranty are Café's.
