Who makes it, and what to know
Fiesta is made by The Fiesta Tableware Company in Newell, West Virginia, which was The Homer Laughlin China Company until 2020; the Wells family has run it for five generations. Fiesta was introduced in 1936 and adds a new color each year. The warranty covers chips in normal use, not drops or knocks, and needs a receipt. Fiesta retires colors over time: Cobalt was retired in 2021, and Sunflower is also retired. “If you are looking for a strong sturdy dish that is chip resistant, then buy buy these dishes. I have had mine for a few years now they have been banged on with the countertop corners .”
