KitchenAid is one of Whirlpool Corporation's brands. Juniper is one of its current finishes, a dark green, sold beside Black Ore and stainless steel; the handles and knobs match the finish, and kits in brass, bronze, black ore or stainless are sold separately. The warranty is one year, limited, parts and labor, and five years on the sealed cooling system. KitchenAid says the doors open to 135 degrees while the case stays flush with standard cabinets. Water is dispensed inside, not through the door. Owner reviews praise the Juniper finish and the pull-out drawer; the critical ones describe door shelves that tilt forward and ice that comes out broken, and one owner had cooling faults in the first 90 days. You buy from Abt Electronics, a family-owned appliance and electronics store in Glenview, Illinois, open since 1936. Abt handles delivery and returns: most items go back within 30 days in their original packaging, and Abt may charge the return shipping. The warranty is KitchenAid's.

“This refrigerator is beautiful! The juniper green finish looks incredible and doesn't smudge. Temperatures appear to be consistent throughout the fridge. Items are kept fresh and I haven't noticed any condensation internally or extenerally. The interior water dispenser on my model is super easy to use, ergonomic, and helps the exterior of the fridge stay neat and clean.”
“I love all the features of my refrigerator except for the shelves on the doors. They tilt down which makes anything sitting on them to slide to the front and bump into each other every time the doors are opened or closed. I’ve tried to take them out and make sure they were installed on the right levels and that doesn’t seem to have corrected the problem. Also the rubber seals squeak loudly when opening or closing.”
“This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a fridge. It began having cooling issues within the first 90 days of it being in my home, then the water dispenser pipe cracked and leaked water from underneath the unit, then my ice maker stopped working, and now the cooling isn’t working again. I am so dissatisfied with this product. I’m tired of wasting money on food that just ends up going bad due to poor cooling or taking time off work to have to meet a repair person. Don’t buy this product!”
