Who makes it, and what to know
Smeg is an Italian appliance maker based in Guastalla, near Reggio Emilia; Vittorio Bertazzoni founded it in 1948. Smeg USA's warranty is one full year from purchase, parts and labor. Smeg launched its small appliances in 2014. The hopper holds 240 g of beans (about 8.5 oz). It comes with a 58 mm dosing funnel and a holder for an espresso portafilter, and Smeg says it works with all of its coffee machines.
