Who makes it, and what to know
Smeg is an Italian appliance maker based in Guastalla, near Reggio Emilia; Vittorio Bertazzoni founded it in 1948. Smeg USA's warranty is one full year from purchase, parts and labor. Smeg launched its small appliances in 2014. The stainless steel carafe heats up to 20 oz and froths up to 250 ml (about a cup), lifts off the base and goes in the dishwasher. Two whisks come with it, one for frothing and one for heating. Smeg also sells frothers coded MFF01 and MFF02 under similar names, so check the model code ends MFF11.
