Who makes it: ZLINE of Reno, Nevada. Its own FAQ says manufacturing locations vary by product and model, and it does not say where its hoods are made. Warranty: three years on parts and a lifetime warranty on the motor; labor is not covered. Safety: no CPSC recall found on a ZLINE hood; ZLINE's recalls were on gas ranges and wall ovens. The Autograph hood moves 400 cubic feet of air a minute at full speed, against 700 on ZLINE's Snow-finish hoods, so it suits a range with fewer high-output burners.
